Really appreciate Jeremy's post on the way he used generative AI to solve a problem.

Specifically he considers the options carefully and was able to make use of local hardware (i.e. his laptop) and "ethically" trained model (from Flickr and creative commons licensed images).

Closing with a quote from Scott Jenson, that I can absolutely relate to:

While the utility is there, the current landscape of these frontier corporate models comes with massive ethical and environmental baggage. This is not a long term solution!
