Second Life are setting up UK development offices in Brighton and looking for new staff. What’s more interesting, is that this job post actually lends weight to something I’ve been saying for a few years now: Brighton is the UK’s answer to San Francisco.
Several years ago I wrote Marbles Squared, a ‘lightweight addictive puzzle game’ for the Palm Pilot. I would often peruse Google for reviews and download figures, until one day, I found an article that referenced my little game.

Just a big thank you to everyone who came to Julie and my 10 year “togetherness” party last Saturday! We hosted an 80s party at Heist in Brighton and it was a ball. Lots of superb costumes and lots of retro tunes. Here’s the invite I put together for the occasion:
Jonas, a good friend from work is getting Married this weekend. In Hungary. He’s marrying a Hungarian, so it makes a lot of sense. 160 people, from 19 different countries.
